DSI: Disease Scene Investigation
''DSI: Disease Scene Investigation'' is a children's Web series produced by the provincial government of British Columbia, Canada, for its "Immunize BC" website. An obvious pun on ''CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'', it stars Yvette Lu as a high tech nurse, guiding two high school students through their investigations into infectious diseases threatening their high school. The series, co-produced by TSTP productions and the Provincial Health Services Authority (British Columbia), is designed to teach children and parents in British Columbia about the importance of disease prevention. The series is directed by C. Galloway.〔( Immunize BC: "DSI: Disease Scene Investigation" (web series) Provincial Health Services Authority )〕〔(Yvette Lu - official site )〕 The Web series also appears on YouTube.〔(Immunize BC Channel )〕
Actor Yvette Lu, who plays "The Nurse" in the series, is a real-life medical doctor.〔( "Doctor Who Acts -vs- Actor Who Doctors" Ming Pao (Chinese language paper) Ming Pao Newspapers (Canada) Limited. 2010.06.05 )〕
